Call this number if you never want to receive any more credit card applications and insurance programs offered by the big four companies - Equifax, Experian, Innivis, and TransUnion.
I saw this on the Today Show and immediately called. There are two options; 5 years and Lifetime. I choose Lifetime. Because of that, they send you a form letter to confirm your lifetime resignation from the BULLSHIT. I got the letter today, nothing to it. HA!

I was rolling through the Opt Out stuff until I was asked to give my social security number. Butch, did you give your social over the phone to a talking computer? Hmmm. Makes me nervious punching my social over the phone to a talking computer.

I wouldn't have done it either except the Today Show gal said that would happen and that it was cool. Also, that's only if you opt out for life.
