    I am using right now the good old buckingham spurs with replacement spikes but I'm looking for opinions on what kinda of pad I should get or should I just buy new ones. I'm open to buying new ones but can't spend like 700....so geckos are out. Oh and what's the best shoes for spikes/spurs...

    Side note if you use a triple fisherman knot to tie the end off onto the hitch climber pulley or something bulky like that it was get stuck and run on you it's happened to me. So I now get the tight eye splices on my ropes. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

    I use 10 on 1/2 inch rope with the VT and 8 on anything less then 1/2 and polyester cover on it. I climb on the VT and only the VT cuz it holds. You also adjust it to run more or bite more depending on the rope if it's wet needs more friction etc. but you do know a lot I just never liked...
