Very well established and equipped businees seeks quality crane removal specialist with CDL
Very generous compensation package available for motivated , intelligent individual.
Some have been peeved by our sudden price increase, so figured I'd explain our decision. We have maintained a very low price for an extremely durable product as I know first hand how hard the buyers work to earn that money. I have refocused away from Ropetek back to tree work because of certain...
Ok So I realize this isn't the perfect way to sharpen blades but in an extreme volume company we need sharp blades and have little time for changing and transporting to and from sharpeners if one can be found. So heres my way of increasing serviceable knife life......
$60 dollar belt sander...
So here at Ropetek I'm sorry to say my best friend and machinist is battling cancer. The current version of the Wraptor is pretty difficult to make so I'm trying to design an easier to make version
Since we are brain storming I would like to invite current Wraptor users to make suggestions as...
OK so my father always used Stihls. I always ran Stihls to until they decided to sell us a $650 paper weight which they informed us there was nothing wrong with (201t) but offered to sell a fix for the non existent problem? I decided I didn't want to do business with a company who would treat...

I used to race years ago, quit 22 years ago but my son has got the bug so I finally took him to the track. Thats him on a ninja 300 at NCBike
Just bought a big 140 hp stump grinder, first stump I broke the belt. It's a polychain belt and they are quoting me over $1500 for it!!!
Anybody have any alternative solutions?? Maybe new pulleys and regular v belts??
Any of you guys done it?
A buddy of mine who is 62 has shingles and it decimated him, he can't do shit. He keeps telling me to do the vaccine as it is so effective and sides free
I distrust fucking with my body so am inclined not to
Probably shouldn't share this as it is Im sure in violation of many standards but hey might give the crowd a few ideas. We were presented with a tree that had failed and partially fallen into a nice "save tree". There were 2 contact points that I could see with the lowest being at about 60' so...
OK due to the ever increasing difficulty in finding good employees I am at the point where making my crane remote controlled is becoming very attractive. Found this system
http://kar-tech.com/shop-kartech/off-the-shelf/ranger-system/can-ranger-4-system.html
seems like it covers most of the...
Just wanted to let you guys know that Butch started deleting my posts over at the house. I put up a thread saying goodbye so nobody would worry about my absence but he deleted that too.
Oh well I need to spend less time online but wanted to get the word out that I'm ok
Ok so here at Cox's Tree Service/Ropetek we are considering adding another member to our crew. This would be an excellent opportunity for a young buck looking to gain experience as a crane removal climber.
We will consider anyone with any experience level as long as you have a strong desire to...
Ok so I have a quandary. I hate establishments / authority. On Steven and my recent trip driving about 8 hours together we talked about a lot of shit and I brought up the fact that I really don't think it's a good idea to do exactly what I have done and buy a crane and go do tree work with it. I...
OK so we did a job last week, 3 30" dia pops 100' tall behind house. Furthest stump was 80' radius. Job went well and we had to get creative with a couple of the back leads that were just too far out for my crane.
