No direct publication, however my area (SE Michigan) what’s reported (key word there “reported”) tends to be secondary or house drop voltage and if I had to guess it’s because the lower voltage numbers aren’t as intimidating and the M.a.d is simply avoid contact leading to less overall concern...
I’ve seen guys successfully pull branches away from primary only to have the branch swing back into the line before throwing, I’ve also seen guys be “poked” (indirect contact) through down guys on maple trees that were in contact down the lead. Most of the fatalities in the last couple years...
Maverick is a blue moon 2.0 to me, it milks ALOT but has a decent overall feel but does get HOT even flaking quickly into a bag running through your hands it gets hot so if you’re into bombing out you may see glazing rather quickly
I can send you a copy of the 3rd edition study guide it’s not the latest and greatest but I used it to pass this year. There’s an ISA Facebook group that has 400 question practice test I found somewhat useful but for the most part I studied solely the study guide but I was familiar with most of...
to clarify from one of regs older videos it looked like the device used a lever style action to “break” the device open similar to the blackbird not a “bird” style like the akimbo or rope runners. But like I said couldn’t really tell in the video but it looked smooth!
Almost the same if not smoother once wore in, less waxy out of the gate and I find it to daisy chain nicer for storage as well. Any other questions about RING feel free to DM haha. Back to Regs hopefully awesome device, watching the original video from reg the mechanism seems similar to the ART...

Cousins black widow is a modern 16 strand it’s a pretty solid line but does pick rather easy not so much from ascenders but locust thorns and the like. A lot of the line clearance contractors around here still issue out 1/2” 16 strand as the company line so while arborplex would be far from my...
The spiderjack 3 video also was a very “holy crap look at that guy flow the tree like water from the sink!” Looked like it may have the stiff installation similar to the throttle but less forceful since the cams appear to be smooth and not heavily channeled like the throttle.

It’s been fixed for a couple years now though. I am curious because the 2.0 looks very similar to the new notch catalyst harness if VSG has vested interest in both companies as Treestuff pushed the Treerex hard for a couple...
