wool socks are a game changer for sure, I like the Point6 socks and they’re usually on some kind of special and even cheaper if you don’t care what color is hidden in your boot.- pcpTR33

Battery ground saws
I had an issue with the husky 540I top handle on two of the real hot humid days here, full battery but saw would keep triggering the overload, grabbed the milwaukee top handle and it ran without issue. I remember when the top handle milwaukees first came out there was reports of melted batteries...- pcpTR33

Only rope I’ve ran so far that I personally didn’t like it with is the Marlow Maverick, the rope runs hot for whatever reason even flaking it fast into the bag the rope gets hot in the hand. It tends to creep on me if I run it and if I bump the friction up it’s too stiff but that’s just my...- pcpTR33

Beat me to the experimentation! I didn’t have the DMM grommet but I did have the grommet inserts from my Gyro 3, however they’re slightly undersized so I used one of the rubber locks from a DMM wire gate tool carrier to keep it from sliding down the spine. I’ll give it an official run tomorrow...- pcpTR33

If your top “bird” on the akimbo 2 is very stiff even on the “a” setting it’s going to seem backwards but try the C or D setting actually makes the bird far easier to break/operate smoother.- pcpTR33

If it was just clearing/opening the road the cities I had worked for would call based off the overtime list, all employees were trained in proper chipper and chainsaw operation, any calls that warranted aerial operation went specifically to those qualified and able to use the bucket...- pcpTR33
