    Section 179 deduction is the ability to completely depreciate a items full purchase price in one year. Last year I 179'd a new truck, this year I will 179 my new spider lift and it's trailer to try and get my tax liability as low as possible.

    What are you using for a carabiner? An oval one is recommended. Are there any steel oval ones that are rated above 30kn?

    For those that have actually used the AFB how hard is it to tension the rigging line once set? I'm guessing you can't pre tension very much due to friction. Now make one with a one way ratchet (like the Hobbs) and I'd pay triple the price if not more.
