The only lightweight jacket that I would deem better than the Ascender jacket is the Husqvarna Technical Extreme but it's not sold in the US but is similar to the Ascender just made better and has a better cut unless your a fatty.

That is possible if they have had a bunch of WC claims in the past. If that is really the case it's probably not a outfit you would want to be working for.
That's not right or you're getting ripped off. My MOD rate was about 17% last year and went up to about 19% this year.

Mine did the same thing. There is a vent from the fuel tank to just behind the air filter that has a little white filter/valve thing that doesn't work properly and once the saw gets hot the pressurized gas is pushed into the intake flooding the saw. I replaced the little white filter thingy once...
I have the easy lift 70-36 and have been meaning to write a detailed long term review with pictures and all that jazz. So far I have been happy with it other than a few annoyances mainly the owners/service manual is about as useful as toilet paper.
