Just seeing what other climbers prefer. Please feel free to add your two cents. I personally climb with my saw on my leg, really dislike my handsaw on my saddle.
Just bought a pair of Asolo Echo hiking boots. All I can say is they are great for treework. Great traction, stiff soles and comfortable. Check them out if you are in need of some new boots. Sierra Trading Post has them pretty cheap.
From what I know one of my fellow climbers was doing a side job removing a dead elm. Apparently he was tied in to small. His tie in blew out and he fell about 25 feet. He broke some ribs and a bone or two in his back. Needless to say watch your tie in!
So today I left one job for another in the forman's pickup. Almost to the next job and some old guy is honking his horn at us to tell us we are about to lose our water jug. We pulled over to inspect and relized that my saw was MIA. We backtracked but were unable to find my saw. Moral of the...
