    Simple climbing setup

Do I need a splice in my climbing line? Looks like a knot would interfere with the prusik? Using the old true blue line right now, any line suggestions / combos? I think I have some blue stripe somewhere too. The system looks very good , and not too pricey thank you for suggestions!

    Simple climbing setup

Hey all been climbing for a long time, Ive had the lock jack for the last 15 years or so. I only climb a few times a month now and am looking for a replacement for the lockjack that is simple and safe. Referral Fees

Here a hypothetical scenario a landscaper sees a tree on a property they work at , convinces the customer to cut it down, gets a price from you lets say $1000, adds (30%) $300 to it. Sells the job for $1300, You bill the customer , then pay him $300 for a "referral" fee. How about if it was...

    Jameson Pole Saw

I cut these $hitb@g pears down today with the pole saw, too tall to drop with the house service, slashed the tops out then dropped the sticks easy, Funny timing with the original post, more pole sawing than usual but helped keep me warm!

    Jameson Pole Saw

Some days my arms agree with you! but gave up on the gas powered ones, way to delicate and expensive! PLus with 3 or 4 poles attached you can get way the fuck up there without climbing or going up in the bucket or lift.

    Jameson Pole Saw

Anyone else notice the ferrules on the jameson poles gets bent out of shape really fast? Seems like the older ones would last years and operate smoothly (until they get completely smashed or lost). I try not to drop them out of trees/ the bucket and still after 6 months there a pain to connect...

    Climber vs. Lift

I'm gonna give it to the lift if you compared over long periods of time , the lift will get 100 jobs done faster than the same100 jobs if you climb them (based on typical work I do) , thats my guess, and you will be less sore lol. Happy New Years Eve
