Hell ya, I did shoot a few rigging lines and pull what would break out of the top. Just had to get to a main crotch and blow out some long sections. Did not try the double over method though, just a pull with mini on single. Will try that next time - thanks!
Yes to above. Most times not our fault that customers waited on these dead ash trees far too long. We all trying to make a bundle in this business, but know when to walk.
Just about ready for my compact lift purchase, think I'm going with PA guys (Tracked lift). Really like the Canadian...
Still no word on the Sthil 161T? Supposed to be thier up'd battery tophandle.
US available was spring/summer 2019 per '19 catalog Sthil catalog, my dealer hasn't heard a peep. I do see the recall from 2018 on this.
Add Tamerak and John Sleeper to the list.
They got me for a lame bucket, but I rebounded...have a proper XT 60/70 now.
Anyone else deal with Johnny Sleeper?
My sthil guy says " do that to an M tronic and change the position of the key and the flywheel it throws off the M tronic oil signal to the fuel solenoid good luck getting those to match without the computer. You're screwed"

One of the best tools I purchased. Just a touch down in power from gas cousin, but super quiet (Saturday AM special, half the prune job done before 9:00 ordinance). Super light, reach out max and stay steady.
Take up in tree/lift when need be, much easier that starting a gas engine.
I...
Demo the XPC with large diameter wood.
I did (15XPC Gas) and found an unusually large "spit" back of chips. Way too many.
Demo for 10 min max, all I needed to see.
I would have to believe a bandit rep would think this is unsafe. Tell me otherwise.
Anyway, my sales guy said this was...
I see Husky has a vehicle 12V charger.
I use outdoor outlit from HO when I think I'll need, but away from power source (outlet) no solution besides a generator. Haven't ever need that.
Only use power pruner/trimmer to date.
Looking for top handle real soon, was hoping sthil would come...

Supposed to hit the shelves "early" 2019.... anyone try the this out yet?
I have the pole pruner battery (A300) battery, so waiting for this sthil tophandle.
Just be sure to do in a full moon cycle. You will get the lift/pull you are looking for. A few bottle rockets tied to the trunk may help as well. Just tricky timing the fuse/cut. Called a sizzle cut.
