Yall should try methenamine, a skin drying agent. I use it rock climbing in addition to chalk, but it's mainly used for amputees to prevent chaffing against prosthetics.

Awesome treat for the crew!
You'll never believe how many identical pancake houses can stay in business together in the same half mile radius.
It's like 2 hours southwest of Pigeon Forge but if you haven't been, the trip to Joyce Kilmer National Forest is awesome. Huge old growth tulip poplars.
Croc, i see you're in NC. I just moved from there, how bad hit were yall?
Are you in the storm-work situation where all the cranes are booked up? Is a bigger crane even available?
Thanks! This is great all around. We have a cat, and our new spot has roses, thanks for that tip.
Another question I have is who takes care of the trees inside the Charlotte airport? I'f be pretty psyched to get that work order, nothing like working with climate control...
Flylow gloves got me through many a Vermont winter. Awesome on the ground, and the elastic cuff versions are safe to use around the chipper. Here's their women's line of gloves.
Always found it hard to climb in a glove that didn't have a rubber coating, love the Atlas winter weight gloves for...
Moved into a larger space this week, looking to add lots of plants inside. Anyone have any suggestions for interesting small tree species that would do well inside in a large pot? I hate to be buying anything that the big box hardware stores call a "tree."
Am I crazy or did there used to be an e2e chest harness attachment point for the HH? I mrs on my lanyard all the time, and want a tiny e2e to pair with an ART positioner to mrs instead of clipping back to the becket on my pinto.
Curious why you're removing these trees over such a large area. Are they over trails or structures? Out in the forest I'd go with what the Park Service calls "benign neglect."
I've rapped off a lot of crane pics removing ash last year or two, worried about being high on stems, even just sitting...
Interesting!

"So, is “tri-loading” authorised by the manufacturer? No, but unlike minor axis loading, it is not prohibited. One of the biggest issues with specifically endorsing tri-loading is that there is no relevant standard that defines a test for a...
When you say holding the harness together, are you using a harness with three points like this new tribe saddle?
You'll want a delta like what's shown here if that's the case to avoid triaxial loading your carabiner.
Mark, how did you get to the level of teaching you're at? I'm sure you've met many folks around the world who are in teachers and mentors at their companies around the world, anything stand out these folks that make them good mentors in the tree world?
