Yes, just double it up toward carabiner, start wraps from biner down and stick the end through loop. then you can pull the wraps down as tight as you want to cinch it.
I would say the noise is comparable to a 9mm pistol for a bystander , louder for the shooter. The supplied weight has a tendency to get stuck. I think allot to do with the way the throw line attaches . I think it would work better attached to the front with a tapered end.
I have the Wespur one. same exact thing, Also the same thing as a lucky labs dummy launcher for dog training. Its loud as hell, I mean louder than a 12 ga. Might better be tasked for home defense. But it will launch the included aluminum weight over 125 ft with max loads, It's a nice compact set...
