I'm a bandit guy , I would pick a 255 over a 1390 as I prefer disc , everyone has there own opinion but that's what work for us, we have at least 25 bandit chippers and have always been looked after by the dealer here . Morbark dealer here is not as reliable
Try a 255 bandit. I have 2 and they are best chipper in our fleet , it's a 15 inch disc ,we pack the trucks with at least 2 loads /day and both are on 30+yard chipper trucks
Very well written article mark. I'm glad to read and see we are not only place that has employees who believe they are entitled and can't be replaced , I for one will not take push back from an employee , I will do anything I can to help one in need but will not tolerate ignorance we are all...
We run around 20 of these engines , always start in cold , more power then a 5.9 Cummins and less problems then the newer DT466e ,
Only thing is service them and don't buy 320 horse or more they are too much power to hold together .
The people at bandit were top notch ! Invited my father and family down to there dealer and customer days in August, 2 days of demos with a tour of there facilities and good food and drinks . They did interview at one of the owners house, we were very impressed
