I use the petzl rescue pulley with my hhxf if I want a pulley.
It's heavy but fits perfectly and you you want to switch to drt you can fit the termination carabiner in the pulley and it tends exactly like the hitchclimber pulley

I think certain things like a swivel or sometimes when setting up your 2nd tie in for a cut it can be advantageous to either choke your lanyard and connect the adjuster to your swivel or ring instead of going hip to hip or lower ds.

I think a big difference we will see in the set up and in regards to what people carry is the amount of ground support the climber has. Some crews like where I work are 2-3 guys at most and sometimes solo.
I know if I got competent ground support available I will have things sent up as needed...
