OK, OK, so SRT is great. But how do I use a SAKA and foot/knee ascenders while I'm dragging against the tree trunk?

Rec harness?
I have one bridge now with anchor bends and it is roomy for lanyards still. I tried 2 ropes and the adjustable pretzel, but didnt like the asymmetry and my hydra pulley chewed up the adjuster. It appears I don't need to tie my base anchor...
A coworker climbs on Voyager, it seems like good rope. More stretchy than yale 11.7, but less than tachyon. Probably not static enough for using lengths over 150'. But like the other Samson DBs, It just feels good. And will last. Oh, and that base anchor is a mess. You are correct in believing...- rope-a-dope

What are some fun things to do once in the canopy?
Yea, some kind of hammock is nice. Harness problems are tricky, one with buckles on the inside of the legs is the ticket. Or a zippered/cut out crotch. I'm wondering now what a fully nude climb would be like... As for position? Get creative! Definitely best in a branchy tree.- rope-a-dope

Permanent friction saver options.
Why not a tube style that is installed with the climb line every time? I would not want to bolt a nice tree just to climb it. A chain ring saver sounds safe to leave long term, but I would want it wrapped in something to protect the tree. Firehose sleeve or something. Another idea for 2 ropes...- rope-a-dope

Ideas for setting 2 climbing lines for tip.
These are fine ideas, too. I never really absorbed the benefits of using 2 ropes at the same exact TIP. Especially choked srt with retrieval legs... Trying to set up and break down a huge 2 rope canopy anchor sounds hard. So when I want 2 ropes I set them separately. In my view, 2 ropes doesn't...- rope-a-dope

Ideas for setting 2 climbing lines for tip.
The easy way would be a second rope tied midline on a base anchor rope. How ever you are anchoring ropes, it should be possible to just add another rope to the process and have double lines on the same TIP.- rope-a-dope
