Today I dropped my biggest tree of my career so far. Silver maple at a lot clear I was working on in London Ontario. With a DBH of about 60inches my 28 inch bar on the 661 just barely did the trick.
I am in my second year of tree work and beginning to climb some more now that I've finished school. I just got a raise this year so I am in the 20$-22$ with no DZ license.
Just wondering what everyone is using for saw pants during the summer? I've been looking at a pair of the Clogger defender pro pants and the Arbortec Breathe flex pros. They seem to be more lightweight and breathable compared to my Arborwear ironwood pants.
Ya unfortunately I never really knew that they were poor practices untill I did some schooling and realized what the hell we were doing! Like holy shit a bunch of the shit we were doing was wrong!

That could be an option but we already have 3 bucket trucks a couple 18 inch chippers, skidsteer and every bit of rigging gear you could need lol. Not much I could offer him that he already doesn't have besides my own climbing gear.
