    Yeah, my gut instinct's to do a bare minimum to it now, then revisit in the winter. I may just utilize a towing strap to keep the compromised leader in place this summer, then cable it proper this coming winter. If I buzz the snot out of it now, the chances of a beetle kill go way up. Jemco

    Getting to the tips when pruning's made a lot easier with a couple foot stirrups used in conjunction with a speedline loop n biner. I like keepin my bodyline in fairly beefy wood below me. It's hard to be comfortable without secure footing IME. These foot stirrups were custom made for me. Jemco
