I bought the xstatic line like suggested by the Ronin guys (by the way...great customer service over all and great warranty). I have found no, NO, rope damage whatsoever. I was a little leery about descending on the machine without power down and could not see how it could NOT damage the rope...
Back to the Bur oak....this is the report that condemned the tree. None of the other 3 "Arborists" submitted anything. I pointed out that he spelled "Bur oak" wrong in this rudimentary report killing this 250 year old Legacy/Historic/Veteran tree.
PS....I am into engineered trees (cultivars) as well as natives and non natives. ALL the Sugar maples have died over the last 20 years in my town, some giant majestic trees. If you go 100 miles north of here they are all thriving....Bam...Global Warming. New heat and disease (Vert. wilt)...
We had an Historical Tree removed on a whim by our local govt. assisted by the Utility as it towered over their wires and was next to their pole. This tree, a Bur oak, Quercus Macrocarpa, had a dbh or 50" on a dia tape I walk under on exercise walks often and drive under daily. It was about...

PS....ISA finally returned the call and I was told they have no input to who is hired by someone. I asked if they had input as to how their Certs. were used placing a pretender in a position shearly on this Cert. with almost no qualifications. Oh well....my father always said..."never fight...
Steve, I have absolutely no aspirations to be the city arborist. I have absolutely zero spare time. To me this is just a domineering city manager who wants to control everything and is just adding another hat thru this little experienced/knowledged newly passed tester to be under him and thus...
I am curious to how you would feel if there was never a "City Arborist" in your home town and then a Municipal Employee passes the ISA Certified Arborist test and the city starts to refer to him as the "City Arborist". I phoned the ISA and got a lot of stuttering and twisting of words. I asked...
Luzl....you have serious homophobic issues. Usually that indicates a small pee pee and an attraction to other's larger pee pees.
. And I mean that in the absolute nicest way possible.
