    i've had an SB turn over in the sling. what seems to happen is when the splice loosens up a bit the weight of the rope can "flip" the SB before you snug it up to the notch, it's real easy to not even noticed it happened. that's a big ol 3,000lb log you had on there, glad nothing bad happened!
