Is the single wheel TorqMax a down grade compared to the 2 standard feed wheels? I have never ran a single wheeled unit and the down pressure/friction in the feed wheel box seems like it would cut the pulling power in half.
I am looking at building a BB 90xp with a 89 hp gasser, or possibly a 200xp. “2% of our sales was removals last year”. I noticed that the 90 and 200xp have the option of Debris Resistant Bearings. Does anyone have info on them, or have them?
I have about 200 hours on a Nifty SD64. Superior machine compared to the Bil-Jax. Nifty is super fast and can cover ground like a car, more stable then a spider lift when your moving it. It will start to have problems when it hits the 1500 hour mark. Crab steer is fun, and the elevator rocks...
I am selling a 2005 brush bandit 254 grapple. Pretty much completely rebuilt with tons of new parts and a brand new engine with only 115 hours on it now. $45,000.

I would put it simple. Anything under 85hp is a waste of time. Anything above 85 hp can be a helpful piece of equipment. I worked with a 20 year old 90XP with a 85 hp JD and it ran like a top. 4700 hours on it too and according to the owner, never any real repair besides hoses and filters.
I will be meeting with a CPA in three weeks to get going on it all, I just wanted a rough idea of what I might want to choose. Also, what kind of stuff with the lawyer deal with? How are the involved with setting up a company?
What I am concerned about is we have health insurance for our new...
I am wanting to start a company in the next month for my side work in transitioning to full-time work next year. I’m currently working for a company that’s teaching me crane work so I think it’s valuable to just work part time for myself and also start building up some referrals.
I’m hoping...
I appreciate everyone’s response. If anyone has any other unique or odd ways of promoting their business and or dealing with current or potential customers, feel free to let me know.
There are a few trees I have eye balled, that I would be willing to prune for free if I can have a photographers shoot the process. It would be cool to have a website with many photos of the company working on unique and incredible trees.
What is your thoughts on this tactic for sales.
Every now and then I am driving threw a neighborhood and see a totally rad tree. It might be super tall, have a massive canopy, have a crazy low and long branch or some crazy shape. I see these trees and am like... oofta.. I want to be it’s...
