Thank you very much. We try to put forth the best product (graduating senior) possible. I honestly do beleive we have incredible opportunity to educate our kids about this amazing industry. We do our best and thats why it is so important to find the right person to fill this great role. Thank...
There is a rare Arboriculture Instructor job opening at Bristol County Agricultural High School. We are the only high school in the country with a, full 4 year, Arboriculture program and we have just gone through a $105 million renovation and facility upgrade. Our training facility is state of...
Hello,
I run the Arboriculture Department at Bristol Aggie. I am working on a project for my classroom. We are looking for notable industry events. We went through an article put out by ISA and got a lot. It can be found below. The article stops after the 90's. What do you all think should go...
I recently purchased a 2008 gmc 7500 with an 8.1. So I looked them up beforehand and found they are common motors and had a descent reputation. So I bought it. Come to find out mine is a "teir 3" 8.1. It was made for 9 months in 07-08 then discontinued. Wicked sweet! So you may be asking why do...
If there is no rush then let it photosynthesize for the summer and subbordinate (aka prune the crap out of) the least favorable leader this fall after leaf drop.
Hello,
I own a GMC with a rear mount Altec boom. There are a set of lower hydraulic fittings mounted to the bumper (see pic). Anyone know what there were supposed to be used for? I know they made a hydraulic powered chipper but it has no chip box. So that seemed wierd. Someone mentioned...
If they do not sell I would love to add those to our antique chainsaw lesson at Bristol Aggie. Especially if they run, we have some old saws that we show to the kids but none of them run. I cant get the school to pay you but you can use it as a charitable donation for tax purposes. We are close...
I tried both. For advance auto they vaporize as soon as you try to check out. Rock auto doesnt have a 7500 listed and the part number from GMC doesnt pull anything up on their site. I was gonna try to call them tomorrow.
This past summer I purchased a 2008 GMC 7500 bucket truck with a 8.1 L gas motor. It has been a great addition so far. It had a starting issue and a check engine light on. It went to the mechanic. He checked it out and fixed the light (had a bad sensor). He also found that the harmonic balancer...
I always hear the bad or burnt peanut butter in association with ID of this weed of a tree. WTF does that even mean? First of all, who has ever burned peanut butter? And what were you trying to do with it? Second of all, "bad" peanut butter?? IDK what that even means. Peanut butter is designed...
I made the mistake last summer of assuming the newb had a brain. End of a very long hot day, we dumped and backed up to get the chipper. Pulled out of the lot and within about a block I felt something wasn't right. I pulled over and sure enough he didn't close the pintle. Thankfully he hooked up...
So I am looking to buy a used bucket. I have been online looking around and asking friends where they found their trucks. I searched here and found plenty of the usual suspects as to who to avoid. So I am not looking for more of that. I was wondering where have you had a great experience buying...
I was thinking switch n go for versatility. But as I said I just pondered it and then decided not to pursue it. I never went deep enough to figure out all the details (outrigger clearance vehicle height etc.) Maybe a customized flatbed is better.
I have been toying with the idea of a lift but don't think it is the right call for me right now. Heres the configuration I would do. Put a switch n go on a heavy duty truck. Put a flat bed body on it. Have a local welder customize the body with tie downs, mat rack, etc. Put the lift on the flat...
