    Thats about it, it doesn't twist the rope. I saw it a couple different trade shows. I can't believe what they are asking for thing. It a bit over priced. Maybe if there was a winch system included it would be worth it. Its a bit too big to using on prunes.

    I was thinking black locust in my head. I took out 5 yesterday with a crane. They can be a bit funny to read. They can have hidden decay. You spend enough time around them you develope an eye for it. I honestly don't trust them much. The have great strenght on the verticle but don't hold up well...

    That looks like a good way to drum up some work when things get slow. I heard of people around here doing that. One guy one year went around telling everyone their Larch trees were dead and was taking them down. He got caught.

    Nothing wrong with that, it's hard to get some people to put the up the money for safe productive work. Most rather save a few dollars and risk and someones safety.

    Wind is just another thing you need to learn live with, such as rain, pine sap, sweat, dirt,saw dust,hard hats,grease and oil. Suck it up and enjoy the nice days they come around. What are complaining about at least you have a girl on your crew. I think she'd be more cute with short hair.
