    That’s probably set up without the factory fly jib option and using a fixed length/angle jib with the GMT on the end. That would make sense for remaining capacity and also for hydraulic plumbing, etc. My guess is the GMT head and Jib together are probably approaching 1,000 lbs, more or less...

    Copy that. Joist has been good for us, and also has a pared down version with enough function for a smaller outfit. I think many apps are geared towards larger companies but I find most of them offer far more than we need.

    Catalpas in our area tend to end up with limbs looking rather compromised on the top side, and much of it is undetectable from the ground. Lots of horizontal leads end up with long areas of exposed xylem with strong margins of callus tissue.
