    Battery Powered Chainsaw/Hedge Trimmer

Has anybody used the battery powered top handled saws in the cold? Do they last at all? I am thinking they would be poor performance and longevity at -20 C but would love to hear I am wrong. Sent from my SM-T818W using Tapatalk

    Today....

That is how it is with most of my birch, boxelder and willow prunes. Often I put in a second TIP, particularly on 2 inch stuff. Sent from my SM-T818W using Tapatalk

    Subzero Tree Climb

We climb unless it won't warm up to -20C (-4F) including wind chill. That of course depends on local conditions... some winds get blocked by other trees so I keep that in mind for each climb. I have to keep at it all winter to get through the back log. Would love to take a month off in the...

    Cottonwood Removal Drone Footage

Thank you for your reply. Glad you did the assessments and gave options to the owner. All we can do is give our recommendations as professionals but the owner has the final decision. Well done job and video. It was a pleasure to watch! Sent from my SM-T818W using Tapatalk

    Purpose of rigging?

We rig mostly to prevent compacting the soil and protecting the root systems of the remaing trees in the yard. In winter with frozen ground we only rig to protect targets when called for. Sent from my SM-T818W using Tapatalk

As always, it is hard to tell from short video, but it looked healthy. Why was it removed? Cool vid, what a majestic beast of a tree! Sent from my SM-T818W using Tapatalk

    Climbing/PPE Gear for Small Bodies

She will need at least steel toe with chainsaw protection for when she starts climbing. We specialize in pruning so something with a soft sole is crucial. And getting them with enough insulation for our winter work at -20 to -30 C would be nice. Sent from my SM-T818W using Tapatalk

    Climbing/PPE Gear for Small Bodies

I will be watching this closely too as I just hired a young woman and we have the same issues. She did get the waist sewed in 4 places to get her chainsaw paints to fit with doctored up suspenders but I want to get something better for her. I know clogger makes some women's chainsaw pants but we...
