Thanks. Ive had these biners for several years now so i doubt they can be returned. i think the rubber thing spacing the eye from the gate and possibly a light kiss with the dremel will put my mind at ease. The biners have been flawless but those edges have always been a concern to me. Coming...
Hmmmm, interesting. Ill give the DMM a try amd see how it goes. I guess im just looking to buy more gear! I have a thread about harness' in the climbing forum. Torn between MCRS and the Tree Motion
i use two Petzl O crabs for my Hitchclimber system. I noticed the hinge side of the gate has some edges that are not razor sharp but theres enough edge to cut rope. So when i rotate the bottom crab to hook to my saddle, the eyes of my hitch are scary close to those sharp edges! I retired a hand...

Re: 1/2\'xtc fire with 8mm bee line???
thanks. I probly dont have enough time climbing on the blakes hitch to be trying others but ive sampled the distel, schwabish and the v.t. low and slow in a tree out back and all of those hitchs seem to function properly,i like the fact that both ends of...
