    Sharp edges on Petzl gates.....

Thanks. Ive had these biners for several years now so i doubt they can be returned. i think the rubber thing spacing the eye from the gate and possibly a light kiss with the dremel will put my mind at ease. The biners have been flawless but those edges have always been a concern to me. Coming...

    Sharp edges on Petzl gates.....

i use two Petzl O crabs for my Hitchclimber system. I noticed the hinge side of the gate has some edges that are not razor sharp but theres enough edge to cut rope. So when i rotate the bottom crab to hook to my saddle, the eyes of my hitch are scary close to those sharp edges! I retired a hand...

    saddle advice/ opinions......

When hanging in the MCRS, do the pads do a good job of spreading out the load from the cordage? Im guessing the MCRS could be rebuilt with cordage of ones choice?

1/2'xtc fire with 8mm bee line???

Re: 1/2\'xtc fire with 8mm bee line??? thanks. I probly dont have enough time climbing on the blakes hitch to be trying others but ive sampled the distel, schwabish and the v.t. low and slow in a tree out back and all of those hitchs seem to function properly,i like the fact that both ends of...

1/2\'xtc fire with 8mm bee line??? i have been climbing for a while on a 10mm beeline blakes hitch on 1/2" fire. i ordered a beeline eye to eye to start learning other climbing systems and i meant to get a 10mm but ended up with a 8mm, ive tried low and slow and havnt had problems, but thought...
