In 2012 the large beech tree in our front yard died from improper landscaping over the root flair. I started climbing to take it down and have progressed from there. Last year I took arboriculture at Andrews University where I work from Stanley Beikmann. Now I climb on average once a week. Most climbs are in my yard where I have large oak, black cherry, hickory/pig nut, and maple. I do odd jobs for friends and neighbors when they are within my ability.
