Nick did email back promptly and helped. It turns out the problem was with FedEx ( who they used to ship the stuff that was not in the warehouse in Reno). It eventually all got here and was as advertised. Looking at the tracking history I‘m calling it a shipping problem rather than a TreeStuff...
Thinking of it this AM- we are in difficult times. I reached out to Nick directly and will post the results.
I was just excited to get some new gear and disappointed so far with how it’s turning out.
I had to replace a set of tree gear. I hadn’t ordered anything from Treestuff for a while, I figured I’d give it a try. I did find an online coupon for 15% off, which I was very excited about- dropped my total order from $2300 to $1950!
I placed the order Monday, July 6. On the website...
Yep- even the “officials” aren’t sure.
I got a call yesterday afternoon from the county public health department. She told me based on the county doctor‘s recommendation based on that it’s been a few days and that I have no symptoms, and had limited exposure to the known positive, I’m not...
Way too close to me.
So I work as a tree climber for the State of California. Technically I’m an essential worker, but when the VA called my wife a second time and told her to self-isolate for 12 weeks due to pre existing conditions, I decided to take some sick / vacation time to follow the...
I work 4x10 per week for the state. Being a certified arborist has no monetary value to them. There are 2x5 man tree crews and one tree supervisor in my district, and I'm the only certified arborist.
I work for myself Fridays and Saturdays though, and can confirm the value of the certification...
Just reserved spots for my wife and I... A heads up that it's 10% off tickets if 2 or more are purchased- before September 1. Hope to see everyone there!
I would be concerned if I lived there too, but as was said above, this is the landlord responsibility.
No matter if your landlord is "super nice" or not you should put in writing that you are concerned about the tree.
What happens next will be based on the landlords response.
One thing to remember is that the engineers overseeing the projects are not arborists. Also the tree maintenance workers and tree supervisors for Caltrans are not arborists.
Usually the way it works is the construction company is contracted to put the item ( whatever that may be) in a certain...
Thanks for the effort to put that up. I just finished watching via YouTube, the sound didn't match the video by a few seconds which was somewhat frustrating, but overall it was great and I learned/ refreshed a lot. Looking forward to the next one!
When I click on the " view archived video" on the website it says " no recording yet"- is everyone else having the same problem or is it something I'm doing?
Sorry about the picture. Also when I look at it on my iPad it's right side up but on my phone it's upside down. Probably best I drop this subject, maybe it's my higher power telling me not to be so snarky.
