I am as well. I have a few friends with giant grapple trucks. They love them unless the jobs get urban. I'm deciding between over vs under CDL...for accessibility reasons. Most of the 50 yard box's I've seen in person don't dump but I know they exist.
I have a protos helmet where the tightening clip in the back broke. Its not structural but they won't replace the part. I'm looking to buy someones old helmet to scavenge the clip off of!
thank you, I demo'd the 1550 today and was definitely impressed. I also demo'd the giant and loved it but I know Ill get stuck in the mud and be pissed! I'm in every variety of lawn but also wooded areas so I'm leaning towards a tracked machine. The 1550 with BMG grapple is seeming like the ticket.
Prana is a rock climbing brand but my crew all wears them. Extremely breathable and flexible. Not quite as durable as tree specific pants but the comfort is worth it.
I'm looking at the ditch witch SK 1050 and SK 1550. I was recently advised that the larger machines would be too heavy for residential lawns and I would regret the amount of damage control I'd be doing. Does anyone have experience with heavier units being their only mini skid?
