@colb I have tried mesh goggles and dont like them. I was thinking of trying goggles because someone recommended I do. They are wearing Dewalt goggles everyday all year and say that they love them. I was curious to see if others experience the same. Also, I am tired of shit ending up in my eyes.
Hi Guys-@Brocky and @moss I think I will replace the shackles with Petzl open rings and add in DMM bat rigging plates giving myself more options for tie ins. I mostly climb on a TM Light now but love my old Butterfly and wanted to give it a fresh feel.
Has anybody modified their Butterfly II harness? I would like to replace the webbing bridge with some rigging plates and a rope bridge and wondered if anybody has done this and what you used. Before I spend the money always like to know what works for others. Pictures are great! Thanks.
We purchased a Petzl Aveo harness and it is by far the best body harness I have ever worn. Easy adustability, total comfort and you can climb of the saddle if you like. Highly recommend it.
I currently run a Haas with a BDB or RR with a CT ankle ascender. I have noticed a few people with chest boxes for long ascents and was wondering about a croll or some of the other ascenders used to keep a more upright position.
I too employ Somatics and have gotten great results with a herniated disc. Also, becoming way more mindful of my movements and how much and how I lift things. Merle what kind of saddle do you climb in and is it a result of trying different brands and finding that your current saddle also helps...
