    Bulldog Bone preparations for Japan

The bone Adam was using was actually mine at the cutters and climbers show last April. It convinced Adam and the guy video bombing or was that bumming him, to get the BDB. ;)

    Compact Bulldog Bone

Hello mate, I am using the bollard it came with, never needed to change anything. It came with the middle sized one fitted, not sure of the exact size. As for weight I am 87kg in my under crackers. So another few kilos for saw pants, harness and saws. It does even slip with a 660 or 880...

Gordon, it still works fine. It is very smooth. The only exception is I bought 60M of cougar orange. I climbed on it for a good couple of hours on a few jobs. Then one day I was deadwooding a large Cypress and right at the end of the climb I dropped pretty rapidly onto the bottom limb to...

Hey up people. Not checked in for a while but I see this thread is still alive and kicking. Testament to a great product. Well my bone is 14 months old and has been in use pretty much constantly in that time, 5 days a week contract climbing. I have had a stint on my RR running Kernmaster, I...

Large Elm Dismantle on the Bulldog bone.

Steve I have no problem with constructive criticism. If I learn something new everyday I am a better person for it. It is more the amount of times I had to mention that I had taken the information on board and thanks. Either way, fukc it, life is too short for that sort of crap.

Here is another one we did last year. A real hot day and unfortunately the GoPro ran out before the end. Aaron up the tree and me on ropes...

I think this is getting a bit out of hand. I hear from many arborist on other forums that the treebuzz has a reputation for crap like this. I will stick to the other places from now on. Thanks for confirming the rep. I posted the video and started the thread for people to see work from...

Treevet I hear what you are saying. You mention you picked a stem with one of the co doms and it split on you as you lifted it. Tbh, I am not sure what you are getting at. I would never pick a co Dom stem with a single lifting point. I would always sling or chain both stems. So it was ok...

Mate, that is very easy to say from behind the keyboard when you weren't at the job. Thanks for your concern though. There were 2 very experienced climbers on the job and the boss who had checked the tree. We didn't deem during the onsite risk assessment that it was necessary to brace the...

No we didn't tie the stems together. Although they split on impact there was about 2 - 3 feet of trunk below the union. I think the only reason they split was due to the union which was weakened by the Gob I put in there. As there was a fair bit of weight up there I made the gob cut pretty...
