Gnarly old Siberian Elm

No central leader, codominant stems all about the same height and spreading very wide. Limbs twisted and corkscrewing every direction. Pain in the butt to move around in, and bouncy as a trampoline. Close to the house and big limbs over several targets.
Actually... it's a DdRT line using an anchor (with OmniBlock 1.5 pulley) that I can install and retrieve from the ground.
This is the fourth prototype and it's a little long for this horizontal limb, but about right for a crotch that's more vertical.
I'm working on one that will let me set/retrieve the OmniBlock 2.6 the same way. Might even try doing it with a full size tail block.

I'll try to remember to make a video of it being installed and retrieved.
 
Yeah... I use 1/8" Slick Line or Dacron Polyester or Nylon Paracord for retrieval lines.
