Multicenders and hitches don't play well with Sterling HTP 10mm, probably not with 11mm either since the core material/construction is the same. There's been a lot of discussion on this going back years. Great access line but weird core bunching/twisting has happened for the typical up and down climbing use expected for a good climber line.Thanks. I’ve heard good things about HTP. I’ll have a look at the specs compared to the Squir and Cougar Blue.
From the get-go the radical stiffness of the HTP core after regular loading during climbing is problematic for multicender performance.
