I heard about that, good luck with all the work coming your way!

Been super busy this last month or so, just exhausted. Plus I keep getting stung by wasps. Got hit three times on Friday (its mid October!!), one of them was on the finger and my hand got so swollen up in a matter of minutes I couldn't even hold things, and had to quit for the day. Never had that happen before....

My doctor prescribed some 2.5% hydrocortisone cream. If I can get some on the sting in less than ten minutes, it's almost like there wasn't a sting. Swelling and pain go away and there's no further issue. Works for yellow jackets and wasps.

Something about hand stings … usually the worst spot for me, I’d almost prefer to be stung on the face!

This White Pine had been topped before or lost it's original top so there were five tops instead of one. No way to throw into this mess so I free climbed it with my positioning lanyard and a short 40ft MRS lanyard. Treesave cables spliced to a large central ring and just tied to the tops with a bowline, each set on top of a whorl of branches so they can't slide down. Wonderful fall day outside, especially hanging out inside this room of trunks.

did a 1" crown clean on one yesterday with 5 tops. Never my 1st choice of tree to climb. I did throw in at about 50' and lead climbed the rest. It was kinda cool to sit in the center of that and listen to the wind.

Customer today is 74 years old. He's Russian, a former tank commander in the military. Watched me the whole time I was in the tree. I get down out of the tree, he brings me over to the overhead bar in his backyard, asks me if I do pullups. I jump up and squeeze out 8 reps. He hops up and does 20! Tells me he does 100 pullups every other day, 5 sets of 20.

The secret to old age: keep moving...

Those old Russian guys are super macho and super competitive. I've had experiences like this before too, just trying to buy a ladder from a guy. Somehow it became about self defense and he was showing me how I was unprepared for a knife attack hahaha

All I could do was laugh. One of those days. Lost the fuel cap for my truck, Avant joystick buttons crapped out, and saw got crushed The upside was this butt log that I was really happy not to wrestle!

I did some advanced mini-ing loading-out uphill withsteep and technical terrain. No need to bring the micro chipper...beat the rain!

A week or more of work's brush going away by grapple truck. Not having any consider about rocks and dirt is sweet.
