Liberalism ruins everything it touches.

And please don't blame the LA fires on carbon dioxide... hiw is it that a city like LA doesn't have a plan and infrastructure in place to put out a fire before it burns down thousands of homes?

It's not about climate change.. it's about mismanagement... andvwho has been doing the mismanagement..... CALIFORNIA LIBERALS...

Spend a billion dollars on caring for illegal immigrants so you can stack the decks politically in favor of the the democratic party while cutting the budget for the fire department by multi millions and see what happens....

The extent to which climate change is man madevis debatable... deforestation, farming, chemtrails... there's a lot of things humans do...
Carbon dioxide isn't harmful. Increases in CO2 are not driving climate change... reducing CO2 won't change the climate in any quantifiable way for at least the next few decades if at all...

There's inertia built into the system... taxing carbon isn't going to do anything except put money in the pockets of those at the top of the scam and freeze and starve the world's poor.

There's nothing clean about electric cars when mining the lithium, cobalt etc devastates the environment... and there is no way you can replace petroleum fuels with wind and solar... no amount of capacity to make up the difference... and energy demands are just going to keep growing..

In the meantime we're only one major natural disaster away from extinction when enough nuclear power plants meltdown to kill every mammal on the planet....

The only reasonable path forward is developing new energy technologies that make the old ones obsolete... I believe they have already been invented, but are being suppressed by the same cabal that's trying to tax air...
P 1
Strongly agree, EXCEPT for ‘Human made climate change’ isn’t debatable.

P2
Co2 certainly is part of it. There are other emissions which contribute pound for pound tenfold. 100% agree reduction in co2 won’t make much if a short term impact, but it just might for my kids if we did so in a meaningful way.
Fun fact human caused climate change is INCREASING the growing days, here. Carbon emissions are INCREASING growth rates here. Rain fall is substantially INCREASING here for 7-8 months of the year. Summer DROUGHTS (defining it by seasonal precipitation) are SUBSTANTIALLY worsening here.
Aka a shit ton more fuel to dry up and burn. Not to mention insurance companies and municipalities are pushing HARD for firewise in the interface. Unfortunately, creating a huge management nightmare when it all gets overrun by invasive plants…

P 3
Kinda agree. And the carbon taxes are mostly greenwashing bullshit anyway. Sin taxes are a capitalistic, corrupt practice anyway.

P4
Yup. Kinda hard truth is we have outgrown our niche on this planet. Either by simply overpopulation, and or by ‘modern’ lifestyles. No free rides. Is all the research that points to natural population checks balances liberal brainwashing too? Epidemics are passé within globalization. But that’s a hoax too right?

P5
Strongly agree. Kinda like to stick my head in the sand with this one. It doesn’t even have to be a natural disaster, just a oopsies.

P 6
First half, ok yeah sure.
Second half see reply to P 3 addendum: suppression is lobbyists protecting the interests of the companies profiting from the status quo.

Da fuck?
Look at the weather patterns, it was a tinderbox. Mismanagement in California is nothing new
Climate change certainly played a part BUT the issue with climate change is it’s very hard if not inherently impossible to put any SINGLE EVENT on human caused climate change. This is what conspiracy theorists, corporation's and whack jobs try to capitalize on to influence discredit and denial. Unfortunately it works to sow division into oblivion.

We know it has an effect and a net negative one to boot. Yet climate is measured by patterns over decades. Science has given us an understanding of the past, but time will be the only thing that gives us the macro perspective of right now.
We know how we are trending and know why.
There will always be dips and valleys in the graphs.
Was this fire caused by climate change? Probably not, but it certainly had a role for damn sure. Can it be quantified as 50% of homes were lost as a direct result of human caused climate change? Of course not but it had an impact for sure! Can fires like that happen? Sure just like freak windstorms (or periodic) happen.

There is no basis for attributing local climate events to global climate change... there will always be local variability independent of global changes. Saying that summer droughts are getting worse here because of climate change shows a lack of understanding... a common fallacy amongst the ignorant masses...

Ha! We said the same thing but you’re still trying to argue.
Yup no single event.. blah blah.

I’m speaking to the measurable trend of how climate change is impacting my region. With credible data..
I have read my research. We have had a wet cool summer, and it’s been nuts how damp and cool it’s been all winter without freezing. Not sure enough of a baseline.

I’ve lived in this region and have roots going back here into the 1850’s…. The changes are measurable. I grew up with hearing stories of ice skating on regional lakes being the norm. In fact so normal it wasn’t odd to own a pair for seasonal fun, and this is back before indoor facilities.
The fire data goes back 500-1000 years within living trees, let alone tracing things back further.

It's all still local... that's not global...

have you ever been to dry falls???

BREAKING NEWS! Canada and Greenland have just brokered a deal which will result in the annexation of California. America can finally rid itself of the 5th largest economy on the planet and all the money, resources, and food that the land of milk and honey brings to the table. You're gonna have to find another sucker to subsidized your never ending opiate addictions, put food in your obese bellies, and shoulder the financial burden of the welfare states that take more than they give (predominately red). Adios mis amigos, and Viva CaliCunuckaland..

What is a chemtrail?
