300mm is best saw eva.. IMHO.I can only find replacement blades but if anyone has a whole one they'd part with, I'm looking =)
I'm worried it'll still be longer than I want . Been rocking a tsurugi 375 curve for the last few yrs and it's finally gone dull and I'm ready for something much shorter300mm is best saw eva.. IMHO.
A prosenti is a special gomtaro. Fine teeth at the end. It is so versatile.Have you used a Tsurugi?
I like that better than a Gomtaro... personal preference.
I know...I had one. Still liked the medium tooth straight blade Tsurugi better. Sold two-tooth-size saw to a helper who went off on his own as he liked it better that I.A prosenti is a special gomtaro. Fine teeth at the end. It is so versatile.
We all have our favs indeed. Was not a fan of either straight or curved Tsurugi. Handles were nice though.I know...I had one. Still liked the medium tooth straight blade Tsurugi better. Sold two-tooth-size saw to a helper who went off on his own as he liked it better that I.
Yeah I really like my 375 curve w/ large teeth but I'm trying to get my saddle configuration dialed exactly right and I think a shorter, straight blade saw is the ticket and I want to try the combination teeth.Have you used a Tsurugi?

I’m using both of those.Have you used a Tsurugi?

Sorry, not what I intended. I only did the fine tooth on the Gomtaro because I already had the saw handle, and scabbard.Y'all are gonna make me buy two saws at this rate
I have a gomboy 240 that I used for a while, but I wasn't vibeing with having to fold and unfold it constantly. I did really like the 240mm length tho.I use a silky super accel folding saw 240 as the always on my saddle saw. No scabbard.
It looks like a zubat handle, idk if they're compatible, but if I have to source a new handle and scabbard it works out to be about the same as buying a complete 240I thought a lot of Silky saws used the same handle bolt pattern. As you can find the replacement blade are there other handles you can use?
Yes, the Gomtaro and Zubat have the same handle and bolt pattern. I used to have a Zubat pole saw, I switched the blades for a short while. It looks like a zubat handle, idk if they're compatible, but if I have to source a new handle and scabbard it works out to be about the same as buying a complete 240
