I used to be quite the cyclist, I’ve fantasized about this a few times. Had no idea, what a guy.

That's real nice ride muggs. Aluminum? Some mega large boxes, can never have enough room for gear imo.
I've been thinking about making a similar setup for smaller pruning jobs/cleanups. Didn't know how those unloaders do with chips! Now I know! Sweet rig. When I started out, I even used to chip into it, including an unloading system. Stays a little cleaner now. Climbing gear lives in the cab.

Pics?Yeah tons of storage for sure. Other side has even more
It's a big v8 500 gasser, not very powerful by any means. We've never towed anything with it, only used for hauling brush to the sort yard.@levi r
What motor is in the isuzu? Do you tow a chipper too? Always loved cabovers, drove a Fuso everyday in another line of work but worry about the power when loaded/towing.
Wish they sold the FTS (i think?) over here, saw them everywhere over in Aus. 26k 4x4 cabover is my dream
To me, that's the underlying function of the thread. Beyond the obvious enjoyment of seeing people's rigs, the conversation about how, what, why and when could be valuable!I don't want to derail this thread
Did y'all build that or send it out? I've been looking into modifying my truck to have better storage.View attachment 95009
Horizontal box is custom. Chip box is just under 12ft long, plus the attic space above the cabinets. This side of the truck has yet to receive the corporate slogan.
Bought it like that, 3 years ago. We've had issues with water getting in the top of the cabinets, both sides. Seems to depend on how the truck is parked, rain will run down one side or the other and go straight in. Other than that the storage is mint. Rigging gear for a whole crew, 2 sets of climbing gear, all the saws, tools, and poles. Inverter for battery charging. I think each side cabinet has 16 hooks for hanging gear. And the truck has airbags, easy getting on and off the chipper.Did y'all build that or send it out? I've been looking into modifying my truck to have better storage.

Good man, still getting the ball rolling but it's picking up... Those aspens are at our place, some cool ones around here. Found these back in the NF nearby :It's a big v8 500 gasser, not very powerful by any means. We've never towed anything with it, only used for hauling brush to the sort yard.
How's CO treating you? Looks like some chonky aspens in the phot you put up! We don't grow em that big over here very often.

Shit, buy it just to have it.There is a website called Gov Deals that is an auction site for goverment entities. Under their Nursery and Hort listings. They currently have a chipbox on the block like the one Muggs has only without the side box and the current bid is sitting at $310 canadian.
