Sap on Pants

What's up guys, I seem to frequently get sap on the knee area of my pants while doing consulting and trunk injection work. Aside from cleaning them all the time, does anyone have any easy on and off knee pad/sleeve solutions that are comfortable af to work with? Would be nice if I just had a magnetic patch or something.. I feel like it's not a big deal for climbing but it sucks getting my nicer pants sappy all the time lol.

This is the one place where I think chaps shine. Throw them on for the dirty work, kneeling, etc and take them off when the task is done. Voilà, clean pants underneath!
I guess that's an option. Throwing on chaps does seem a bit excessive to protect a 4x6 inch area around the knees though. Perhaps a bit odd for consulting and PHC work but hey if it works lol.

I mean, if it's just your knees, go to the hardware store and get some knee pads, they are like $20.

Yeah, just wondering if anyone has preferred pads or alternatives they really like. I've tried knee pads in the past and can't stand wearing them around. Might be skinny calf muscles or something, can't stand saw pod either.. Perhaps I'm the only one with this issue lol. For now my preferred option is just wearing beater pants but they don't look professional and I can't always plan for it.

A small gardening mat works well. I use one doing trunk injections on trees in stone mulch, or when the ground is wet.
I tried a mat for a bit, it's cool for 1 or 2 trees but constantly carrying/moving it around for say 30 trees is a bit cumbersome to me.
