Product Recall DMM Compact Swivel Units

Mine ended up getting lost in transport en route to the regional claim center. Had to contact DMM and basically take an oath declaring it forfeit and that they would send me a replacement as a courtesy this one time.

I mean, I would expect nothing less if it was sent into the ether...

So they messed up, repeatedly, and basically treated you like you were the potentially dishonest problem? I’m sorry that’s just as fucked up as @Tuebor still not having his swivel. Doubt I ever buy another dmm piece of gear again.

I'd say the same, but they're kinda like a drug dealing gangster- they might kill that kid down the block, but nobody's really gonna do shit about it, and addicts still want their fix. Has Notch knocked off the Pinto pulley yet? I'll always seek alternatives, but if they're the only one making something specific that I want...

Got to remember, Notch (Gridiron) won't make it. If they sell a Notch Pinto looking pulley, it will have been made by DMM, painted green with Notch printed on it. That is how they operate. DMM will get their cut, and Gridiron will get their cut.
Gridiron bought up Vertical Supply Group who owned Notch; Bishops; TreeStuff; Sherrilltree; and a gazillion other companies.
Me, I'll do my business with DMM as opposed to giving my money to a mega corporation.
Tuebor needs his equipment back, and in good shape this time. No if ands or buts about that. But running to Notch won't solve anything because you will still be buying a DMM product painted green.

If your using it for your climbing setup I saw a video of a cool looking hitch climber type pulley camp is coming out with this morning.

It's specifically the two different models of pinto's that I have in mind. They're strong and nicely shaped, and I think my next purchase will include at least one. I like the way the eyes of a prusik can go inside the cheek plates thereby making it impossible for the prusik to migrate away from it. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I don't climb with a pulley so couldn't make recommendations that camp set up looked banging though. I'm mostly rrp, a little hhfx and the camp giant when I gaffing a spar or pine.

They'll be for a variety of uses, only one for a lanyard setup. I do want both of those devices, and since neither one is close to $8500 USD, I will likely get them before certain other kinds of ascenders  I also wanna use a couple rigging pintoes with prusiks for progress capture. They seem like they'll make for a compact MA system that can be used for other light rigging needs too.
