Been here a while
Am I understanding you guys right? They sent back different swivels than the ones you sent in? So they gave you a piece of used equipment with no user history? That sounds just a little bit wrong to me.

I have not heard that the ones they are sending to us are used equipment. If someone can verify one way or another, please let us know.Am I understanding you guys right? That's what I'm claiming. My originals were lightly used and I take good care of my gear. The ones I received in return look more used (anodizing worn off the edges, nicks, etc), have different serial numbers, and have dates of manufacture that preceed the date of recall.Am I understanding you guys right? Wow just when you thought DMM couldn’t make it any worse at this point the go all “hold my beer” and prove us wrong. That's what I'm claiming. Try it again. I was probably editing at the time as I mistakenly put up a receipt for vehicle registration instead of the letter and had to pull it down. Will post again just in case.Didn't load @Shadowscape
Exactly my thoughts. I'm worried that Wesspur and Sherril will have a big sale on these units that have been returned to them, for like 50% off, thereby making it even harder for folks that wanna sell theirs off second hand.Somehow it feels a little unnerving to get used gear from a manufacturer - almost like they're "hot" - but if I bought these from a climber I knew, I doubt I'd give it a second thought.
Last week I got an email saying I'd be getting an email (with a tracking number) but five days later so far no second email from DHL. I wait with bated breath . . .Fedex delivered mine to the wrong address. I give up.
