One of my old companies had a saying about that, something like "removal gets you 2 prunings of money but then it's gone" way better off keeping the tree and after 10 years the pruning has made you way more than the removal ever could

I generally prefer pruning work may not bring in the big money in one go that removals can but it's mostly a lot of light work that doesn't beat us up and makes for a fun usually less stressful day.

I hate dicking around pruning trees.

I agree with you there. I like pruning but in small doses. Ever since we got the spider lift, removals via cut and chuck are just so darn quick. Harder on your body but a lot less dangerous. Our location is seeing the hight of EAB and these ash trees are getting deadly. Pruning is a nice break from the hustle and bustle.

Yep but it still takes like 14 hours to drive the length of ca this eastern states are like a few hours.

Yep, New England states be small. I now live in the smallest state in the union which used to have the longest name…State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations. We voted out the Providence Plantations part back in 2020.

You just have to remember that up here, we all used to be one big joint called the Massachusetts Bay Colony and covered much of what is presently Mass, Maine, New Hampshire and Connecticut.

The events that carved out this part of the world are pretty interesting to say the least.

History is quite fascinating, and there is a lot around here too. I live rather near Philadelphia, which was the capital of this nation at the very beginning, have worked at a former tavern where George Washington used to hang out when he was in town. Right down the street is Christiana, where the Christiana Riot occurred, which was one of the events that kicked off the Civil War.

That way you make sure your shoe laces are tied, not stepping in poo, or stepping on a sprinkler head. And have your fly zipped from pissing in the neighbors hedge first

I find accurate bidding to be difficult. Accurate and efficient tree work is easier.
