Bid that tree!

1600-2k leave the wood and stump,, Me and 2 or 3 other guys partly just to give 1 work but I'm not going to do much after I hit the ground if there's 3 of us. My truck chipper grcs another bollard. Probably pick a leader to set a block in and rig everything else off it in big sections.
 
$1600-$1800 (plus the stump that I subcontract out) either solo or two guys. I'd probably take 3/4 to a full day. I work consistently but never in a hurry. I'm leaning towards tip tie rigging the two outer leads and laying them to protect the sidewalk, then fell the rest individually; although the game plan has been known to change the day of or even half way through the project.

I'd show up with the same equipment I bring to each job, 50yd grapple truck, mini skid, BMG rake and scoops, hydro mini skid winch and a job box full of saws and clinbing/rigging gear.

Full disclosure, I've never tried this technique on Elm, but I'd try it here if there are no targets. If successful, it'd allow each lead to be felled with no damage to the street or sidewalk.

Two men; flop over branch by branch, two saws, section by section. Haul brush to dump. 4-6 hours including cleanup. Cash on the barrel, $800. Or hire a local climber to get the problematic parts on the ground, $80/hr, 2 hours. Handle the rest myself, hauled out brush.
 
Check out and size up the customer's wealth; if they are wealthy, if this is a referral (my neighbor, co-worker, etc. highly recommended you) bid double and give them the red carpet, white glove treatment, show up clean shaven smelling like a rose with the right vehicle, smiling like Dale Carnegie said, compliment them on their layout and tell them how wonderful their friend was to work for. Amplify any words by customer on their trees, accentuate how sad it is that the tree needs to be removed, how dangerous the job could be by a non-professional, tell them you have "all the toys" for this type of highly specialized work.

2k winter price. Would meet my minimum daily winter goal. Done by 2pm. Crew gets 8hours. No stump grind. 3 guys truck chipper and mini with log trailer. Easy day

Professional presentation is important but trying to predict peoples relationship with money is dodgy at best. I dont do the saleman approach. I show up give an honest opinion and give them a price based on what I think the job is worth not what I think they may or may not pay. Keep the extra talking to a minimum.

Better yet just refer the job to your homie come out as a sub and chill
