I’m just saying that to mess with my competition who also frequent this site. In reality though everybody knows I’m kind of a big deal. I’m like a 40 ton crane packed into a 155 pound frame.Ryan, how many people on your crew to do this by lunch?
Reminds me of the honey locust we did by the water that October day. Total eye opener that day was.$2,000
Just me, Spider Crane and the Peterbilt. Whole tree, one load. Done by 14:00, but wouldn’t be able to leave until 17:00 due to all the additional work requests generated by the show. Still late for dinner.
That was a great time! Super cool that you and your bro came down to meet up.Reminds me of the honey locust we did by the water that October day. Total eye opener that day was.
2k winter price. Would meet my minimum daily winter goal. Done by 2pm. Crew gets 8hours. No stump grind. 3 guys truck chipper and mini with log trailer. Easy dayThis one's to be removed, front yard right by the curb. No targets really, a tiny bit over the house but not much.

Ps, what kind of equipment and crew would you bring for a job like this?
Ok, I'm changing my price from about $1600 to 2250, just so I can hire Ryan and watchI’m just saying that to mess with my competition who also frequent this site. In reality though everybody knows I’m kind of a big deal. I’m like a 40 ton crane packed into a 155 pound frame.
A show could be better, I get invited to dinner when I put out like that.$2,000

Professional presentation is important but trying to predict peoples relationship with money is dodgy at best. I dont do the saleman approach. I show up give an honest opinion and give them a price based on what I think the job is worth not what I think they may or may not pay. Keep the extra talking to a minimum.Check out and size up the customer's wealth; if they are wealthy, if this is a referral (my neighbor, co-worker, etc. highly recommended you) bid double and give them the red carpet, white glove treatment, show up clean shaven smelling like a rose with the right vehicle, smiling like Dale Carnegie said, compliment them on their layout and tell them how wonderful their friend was to work for. Amplify any words by customer on their trees, accentuate how sad it is that the tree needs to be removed, how dangerous the job could be by a non-professional, tell them you have "all the toys" for this type of highly specialized work.

Let the Mulberry eat that garage and tell them to start parking on the street
