Looks like a very nice drop, and a nice pretty felling cut!Large double stem sweat gum today. Bored in to drop this post View attachment 83839
That’s a nice medium sized Silver for this area. Those things get big around here!I cut this silver maple apart today in an apartment complex. I dropped a pretty good sized piece of a lead and a very large opossum came out of it after it hit the ground. It was not happy.
Thats a 395 with a 32 in bar in the pic.

That’s about what all the dead Ash around here look like.Removed some dead eucalyptus, it's got the most beetle activity I've ever seen.
I figured they would be that bad or worse, for around here though this isn't common. That’s about what all the dead Ash around here look like.
Here’s an interesting read, might be what’s going on with your euc’s. http://ipm.ucanr.edu/PMG/PESTNOTES/pn7425.htmlRemoved some dead eucalyptus, it's got the most beetle activity I've ever seen.
And traffic jams will no longer be an issue! There’s a company in my area that bought one and put normal sized wheels and tires on it. It’s a bit ‘Thunder Road’ looking now. Just know to be thorough when looking into one of those. They are often worked to an inch of their life before being retired for sale, and you may be hard pressed to find a company with enough knowledge or care to ensure everything is up to snuff. I have heard too many horror stories about these 4x4 models (or any other model, really) with unresolved issues required too much heartache and headache to fix. I’m sure you know this already.I have a years-long fantasy of buying a 4x4 bucket like this one, only $70k.... even though I have essentially no use for one.....
