Roe v Wade overturned

I wouldn't say the Bible is quite clear considering the Christian, Jewish, and Islamic faiths all worship the same God. Therefore, the Bible, Torah, and Quran should all say the same thing and we all know how that's going.

Maybe he told them all seperate shit to watch them fuck each other up for thousands of years because that's how he gets his rocks off.

God, if he does exist, is a colossal prick.

I was abused by my father as a little kid. Glad I’m a man and wasn’t a girl in one of those states where abortion is banned in all cases. If I was, who knows, I might have had to carry my dad’s baby to term. I thought I was fucked up from what happened to me. That would have made it 10 times worse.

I hope I never have to have that experience, and I can only give a theoretical answer as I have no children yet, nor a wife with whom to have those children.

First off though I would hope that my daughter, at ten, would have learned the difference between right and wrong and would know that murder is always wrong.

If I had to, I would reassure her that God does care about her, and about the child she is bearing, and I would support her and her child with everything I have. My church would also, to help her through such an overwhelming experience without piling on top the guilt of her having murdered her own child.

Personally, I believe that birth control is just fine. Nothing wrong with it because it is simply preventing (physically, chemically, or however) the sperm and egg from coming together. Before the sperm and egg join, they are just two individual cells, neither by itself is a human and neither has a soul, so preventing them from joining is just fine. My parents used birth control for years - it failed twice, so I have an extra brother and an extra sister who were planned by God, but not by my parents.

As for same sex relations, I believe those are wrong. The Bible clearly says so, and so I must believe that they are wrong, because I believe the Bible to be completely true. The law in this nation says otherwise, and I will respect that law, but I will disagree with it. I will not fight that law the way I will the laws legalizing abortion, because same sex relationships are relationships between two consenting individuals, and do not involve the murder of a defenseless child.

PS, my apologies in advance if I any of my words are confusing, I’m a bit high on Percocet today after two days in the hospital and having surgery yesterday to remove a kidney stone that was injuring my left kidney. I’ll try to clarify anything that I say that doesn’t quite make sense.

Gotta say, I’m a little confused by this situation. I live in Ohio and I’m not clear on why she would have to leave the state. In April 2019 Gov DeWine signed the Heartbeat Bill which is now in effect, outlawing abortions after a fetal heartbeat is detected, usually 8-12 weeks. So there’s that window. There are also exceptions in the bill for risk to life or serious harm to the mother. I’m not a doctor, but I can’t imagine any 10 year old whose body is physically capable of carrying a baby to term and safely delivering. Would imagine the life of any 10 year old is in imminent danger in this situation.

Agree with the previous poster who said death by stump grinder is too good for the monster who did this to her.
