Liberalism ruins everything it touches.

Before the S Carolina primary the Dem party realized they needed to get behind 1 canidate. If Bernie Sanders was the canidate many felt that would push many moderate Dems away. So several, IMO better canidates, dropped out so Biden could move forward with the nomination because he was the best canidate to beat Trump. Not because he had the best ideas. Which is what happened. Many dems had to sacrifice their ideals because they felt another Trump presidency would be a disaster. Not sure that " laughable" is the correct desciption. People often laugh things off when they are confused.

I have nothing positive to say about either Trump or Biden, and what they do, say, or stand for.

I think it’s insane we’re still running our society with fossil fuel. Way past time to dig ourselves out of that hole.

Can you believe this dude. Doesnt answer a single question, just rants on and on and then demands people to answer his questions SPECIFICALLY. He ranted over and over that you "pay your fair share". By using this exemption you would be paying your fair share $0. He assumed you do know about this gift tax exemption or whether you would use it, assuming is not knowing.

YOU stated I do not know what I am talking about with respect to the gift tax.

Seems that Rico did answer your question, he said "gift tax exemption." If you knew what this was then why did you say the the Fed gov needs tax revenue. No tax money collected with a gift tax exemption.

Because if cash bonuses are not reported, then federal taxes are not paid.

The whole discussion month's/years ago was that Rico advocated Xmas bonuses should be paid in cash, which most likely but of course not necessarily, skirts the feds thier cut. Furthermore if one states bonus should be cash, not a check proves the cash is not claimed, hence the preference. (If cash is claimed, then what would be the difference - none!).

My whole point was prove the hypocrisy. Liberals vote for higher taxes, larger government, but then skirt the system themselves.

BTY, I am not an "R" either, I am a. "L". We just find some common ground with many more "R's" especially the guy from Kentucky.

Without getting into the political BS here, bonuses from an employer are not "gifts" exempt from gift taxes:

https://www.google.com/search?q=can+gift+tax+exemption+apply+to+bonuses - basically nobody says it is legit. I came across that looking at workers comp stuff (which may vary by state...). I wish it did count, but it doesn't. Which kinda makes sense. Otherwise we'd all pay out employees $14K less per year and give them a bonus (or maybe monthly gifts of $1150) and everyone would be happier.
