I guess but once you are used to the sweet setup on the CT the Jetstep doesn't measure up.The strap takes some getting used to, but once you do it works great...
I used mine once so I haven't gave it a real go or break in time.I have both and prefer the Jetstep. Dont get me wrong cause the CT is killer, but the Jetstep is just so fluid going up a rope....
pm sent lolHoller if you decide you wanna offload it @dsptech
I can offer a new left foot CT and some cash or probably other goodies.![]()
It requires technique, whereas the locking cam ascenders don’t. After a climb or two you won’t even think about it. Every once in a while I’ll kick out, but the beauty is I don’t need to use my hand to reinstall, just step up and the rope re-engages.I used mine once so I haven't gave it a real go or break in time.
I tried it on 11.7 Yale Ivy and wasn't impressed by it.
I had it slip on a couple of steps and kicked out once and so decided I didn't like it before finishing my climb.
Threw it back in the bag.
I can see the wear on my strap. Not totally convinced to replace it when it brakes. The strap broke on my notch version today. I'm a little disappointed.
Does it at least get easier to tighten with the wear?I can see the wear on my strap. Not totally convinced to replace it when it brakes.
I'm in the same boat. I looked at the other options and I think it is still the best.I can see the wear on my strap. Not totally convinced to replace it when it brakes.
