Ninja? What's up with that?

I have both and prefer the Jetstep. Dont get me wrong cause the CT is killer, but the Jetstep is just so fluid going up a rope....

I used mine once so I haven't gave it a real go or break in time.
I tried it on 11.7 Yale Ivy and wasn't impressed by it.
I had it slip on a couple of steps and kicked out once and so decided I didn't like it before finishing my climb.
Threw it back in the bag.

It requires technique, whereas the locking cam ascenders don’t. After a climb or two you won’t even think about it. Every once in a while I’ll kick out, but the beauty is I don’t need to use my hand to reinstall, just step up and the rope re-engages.

I've been using the ninja for the last couple months. Some climbs I find it's quite fluid, some climbs it will kick out or my line will drag/cams won't let my line through. I don't think it's about the weight of the line since this will happen when I'm 20+ feet up. Anyone have any tips on how to make it a smoother ascent? Is there and angle I should keep my foot at, or something?

Just be aware of your foot angle - don't want to be too pronated or supinated. Keep your pant leg out of the way also.

I can see the wear on my strap. Not totally convinced to replace it when it brakes.
I'm in the same boat. I looked at the other options and I think it is still the best.

It's difficult to tighten but doesn't seem to loosen as I climb unlike the CT , which will fall off if not tended to.
