Knowing you and your truck, I’d buy in a heartbeat if it was time for my business. A couple more years before I get into grapplesaw land. Best of luck with your sale and your new toy! This is my current rig. Selling it for the upgrade to the bigger unit. See the flyer and feel free to email or text any serious inquiries.View attachment 72384
Why are u getting rid of it?Price reduced to $350,000 This is a pre-emissions truck meticulously cared for. I have sunk so much money into the cab and chassis to get it up to par. Factory engine rebuild 3000 hours ago. Transmission overhauled in December. So very many repairs and replacements. I have everything documented all the way down to the hours and miles I changed the wiper blades. You'll be hard pressed to find a pre-emissions truck in the condition this one is. Happy to answer any questions or address any concerns. Truck is listed on Knucleboom Trader, Tree Trader, and soon to be Crane Trader. If high interest on used trucks deters you, there are some financial lenders who are still fairly low interest rates on used trucks.
I have an 88 on order. Just going bigger to better serve my client base. Why are u getting rid of it?
love that truck, think for certain applications would be a great thing, like trees over houses and wires, but here in ct that only makes up a small percentage for me, my nifty lift sd64 was a big game changer for me, can get that 70 ft lift into 95%of the yards around here without a climber, the biggest thing for me is not getting the tree down, is cleaning up the mess it makes, i run a tight operation all hands on amd my guys bust there ass, we punch out lots of work, have to work suns just to keep people happy, and also theres so much work here and at 54 years old i got nothing to prove to anyone on doing the monsters or real difficult ones, make more doing two pruning jobs than i will on a takedownI have an 88 on order. I think if he were in your neighborhood, you'd call @Steve Connally to take care of those big uglies!.... i got nothing to prove to anyone on doing the monsters or real difficult ones, make more doing two pruning jobs than i will on a takedown
There certainly isn't a silver bullet for all of tree care. Each tool has it's place. If applied to the correct situation the truck outshines and outproduces most other methods. Nobody makes big money on removals. They eat profit with labor, material movement, and debris disposal. This truck streamlines that process and puts a little more profit on the table for the primary contractor. I do a ton of big nasty trees that are either, unsafe to climb, or just a royal pain in the ass. Again, given the correct application of the tool, it shines! I always felt like i'd rather do 4 $500 jobs in a day than a $2000 removal that is underbid because of the poor market.love that truck, think for certain applications would be a great thing, like trees over houses and wires, but here in ct that only makes up a small percentage for me, my nifty lift sd64 was a big game changer for me, can get that 70 ft lift into 95%of the yards around here without a climber, the biggest thing for me is not getting the tree down, is cleaning up the mess it makes, i run a tight operation all hands on amd my guys bust there ass, we punch out lots of work, have to work suns just to keep people happy, and also theres so much work here and at 54 years old i got nothing to prove to anyone on doing the monsters or real difficult ones, make more doing two pruning jobs than i will on a takedown
It's a mental grind. I get a bit down every so often because I hardly ever get easy jobs. It may make the company i'm working for have an easier day but it's stressful for me trying to make them money as quick as possible and safely. There are days I need to have an inner dialogue with myself. The conversation basically ends with myself, telling myself suck it up. If it wasn't a difficult job they wouldn't call you. (My Austin Powers reference). It is a grind. I generally dislike looking at difficult jobs first unless I absolutely have to. Sometimes those jobs haunt me for days before I get onsite. They tend to work out.......or they don't! Everyday is a challenge. Thats good and bad. Mostly good because it pushes me beyond my confidence level. Being a Grapplesaw Hooker is an interesting way to feed the family! Anyway, rant over. I'd gladly take your big nasties.I think if he were in your neighborhood, you'd call @Steve Connally to take care of those big uglies!![]()
Will you take my 12 year old as a down payment? He’s tweening right now... my 3 year old can be collateral if I choose to stop my payments in about 10 years from now. I don’t want to offer the 3 year old right away, just want to see how things play outPrice reduced to $350,000 This is a pre-emissions truck meticulously cared for. As the old saying goes "slow is smooth, smooth is fast" I wouldn't get in a rush if I were you. Not only are you dismantling a nasty tree, that they no longer have to climb, but your placing debris right in front of the chipper for them. They'll make money based off of that right there. If not then they bid the job wrong.it's stressful for me trying to make them money as quick as possible and safely
Not a chance. Infact if you buy the truck i'll throw in my 11 year old and a puppy. Both perfectly behaved-----uhmm yeah----perfectlyWill you take my 12 year old as a down payment?
