rope runner pro

In my experience, I'd say, nearly so (inspect/feel for abnormalities, of course). I transitioned to the Wrench 3-4mo ago (from the Roper Runner and Hitchhiker 2), and immediately, all of the ropes - every last one - that I'd been climbing on for going on 1.5yrs milked several feet. I'm using 200' ropes, but I'm never using more than 100' at a time (I use basal about a third of the time now, but the friction at the top diminishes how much core-cover slippage can come from the basal side anyway).

I remember when you first popped up on treebuzz. You have come a long way :bailando:

I have used the Vega with the HH2, Wrench, Runner, and HC set up...Kicks ass with all. I think you would be hard pressed to find a better 24 strand poly climbing line.

I run just about everything I buy by @swingdude now, it seems, and he ain't never steered me wrong, Vega included! :ROFLMAO:

Of course, he doesn't have many staunch opinions, and the ones he does hold, it's tough to draw them out of him, you know (/sarc) :ROFLMAO:

Yea, Swing has very discerning taste when it comes to gear... Plus he's pretty! When I was trying to decide on a modern saddle I went with the TreeMo mostly because it looked so fucking good on Swing. Turns out he was right, because IMHO the TM remains one of the very best....

Since I've already established a pattern of laying out big brown ones right in the middle of other people's threads...

I've shirked his advice a time or two, and gone another direction, only to come back around and end up following what he initially recommended. That's experience! One of the best recent ones was a 462. Mind blown by that saw.

Plus, dat accent...
