How does Coronavirus COVID-19 alter our workflow?

Hear that @John@TreeXP. Send them to someone who is saving lives
If you somehow think having PPE, namely gloves and masks is hoarding, you're wrong. Preventative precautions to protect oneself, one's loved ones and everyone we come into contact with is helping others. That's being responsible and caring. Good luck with that. If you're not properly prepared, you should be and for that reason, I recommend using masks and gloves in grocery stores, etc.

Point is SEND them to someone saving lives. What kind of shit show do you think this will become when 20% of medical workers are on hospital beds? They are in CONSTANT contact with those infected for HOURS per day. You are simply running to the grocery store and MIGHT come within some level of proximity to someone who MIGHT be infected. You don’t have to stick anything up anyone’s nose, you don’t have to wipe their ass for them, you don’t have to install intubation tubes in some one that is positive. All you have to do is wash your hands and avoid close contact. GIVE it to them and don’t be so damn selfish

You're talking to the guy who thinks it's a conspiracy to establish a new world order. Also 5g something something
This cracks me up. Wackos think the government is secretly installing mind control 5G in schools, government buildings, etc, while we're sitting at home. I guess they haven't seen all the T-Mobile nationwide 5G commercials on TV.

We don’t have the test kits... we could have them, we should have them but we dont

Yes, that is my point, why not? If the test was so difficult to acquire, complicated and hard to do, the rest of the world would also be restricted, they are not.

We can not stop all activity for the duration this could last. It makes more sense to have those needing to be out and about tested as free from this virus.

Washington state has 8000 test kits on its way. Reserved for those over 60, medical and emergency personnel only. We should have had 80,000 last month with another 100k by now. This is going to blow up in our faces right quick. And I for one think trump is going to postpone the elections

What are they telling you?

They told me to hunker down with the wife in our holler until all this nonsense subsides. Luckily I have a lot of work that I can do myself, and the wife is working from home until fall....

Got this little pecker pole down this morning. Home for a quick lunch then back to buck and skid logs........Fuck Covid-19!

Today
somebody's husband was exposed, the wife visited a dealer of ours and met with couple of their employees - one of those employees came to our office.

The dealer called to tell us the above story

My office Mgr was livid -- that the info wasn't shared earlier

Now she is a practical, reasonable human,
Butt for scarier shit
what if she didn't fall in between the "normal" Lines

and she had a gun

Heard more than 1 expert say that survivors of the 1918 Flu pandemic did not want to talk about it,
because they were so embarassed about how they acted

I can only hope that I won't feel that way when we get to the other side of this

I know, I could appreciate the essential workers a little more and now I will
my best to all

Landscape companies and tree companies are essential businesses... Believe it or not!

Doesn't mean I'm going to be working, but I'm saying here's the information!
That seems to explain landscape companies and permits them to perform certain services, but is not a blanket permission. I also do not see tree services listed there.

I apologize for being misleading. You're right it does appear to be direcred more towards "landscaping" companies.

Cant tree companies fall into that category? Especially if you're providing a service to treat pests fungal or are removing/trimming a tree hazardous to the residence or dwelling? I think those services would be deemed essential based in the information provided.

However It does appear to be a blanket permission for landscape companies.
