Source for webbing

I’m pretty stoked to see the finished product :)

@RBJtree weren’t you doing something similar, rebuilding an old TreeMotion with rope?

Austipin.....dedgum they make some good stuff. Love those buckles.

Webbing can be found in about 1000 different places. I'm trying to remember who all I did business with when I was stitching up my own custom suspenders but all I can remember for sure is milspecmonkey and sgtknots. There were others, tho. Their prices are all over the place so don't be surprised if you can get much more and for less money elsewhere. Sadly, if you need both hardware and webbing, you're probably going to be ordering from a multitude of sources incurring more shipping charges sort of evening out what you are actually spending.

My idea was to use 12 strand so I could easily splice rather than having to stitch webbing. Class 2 fibers that would be strong enough in smaller diameters. I've stitched non life support webbing with my sewing machine, easy stitch, or just by hand, but I have no idea how strong it is. As others have stated in other threads, must use a rounded needle so as to not cut any fibers.

Basically all I need is the webbing, I can make all non life support bits. And reuse the hardware from other sources

IF I knew the specs of the webbing I’d pay 4x happily for the 6-8 feet I’d need. Hence the post, cutting out the trial and error
